Use Passwords preferences in Safari to view, add, or edit usernames and passwords you saved for websites. To view these preferences, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Passwords.
To sort the website list, click a column heading. For example, to focus on websites with saved passwords, bring them to the top of the list by clicking the Password column heading. Click again to change the sort direction.
If you are using the embedded password manager on your iOS devices: open Settings > Accounts & Passwords > App & Website Passwords. If you've previously let Safari save any login details for websites you frequent, you'll see that information here. Tap Edit to select multiple login items to delete, or swipe to the left on single items to delete individual listings. Select a saved login to view the website, username and password. To add a new account, you'll need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the list and tap Add Password. There you can enter the website, username and password.
Depending on your version of iOS, one of these may be more userful than the above.
To set up AutoFill in Safari, start by going to the Settings app.
- Tap Safari in the Settings app.

Tap Passwords & AutoFill.
- Slide the Use Contact Info switch on, if it’s not. Now any time you go to a web page with a form that asks for basics like name, address, or telephone number, AutoFill uses your contact information in the Contacts app to fill those fields automatically.
- Tap My Info to tell Safari which contact in the Contacts app is you.
- Slide the Names and Passwords switch on to have Safari remember user IDs and passwords when you log on to websites. As you will see in the next section, Safari prompts you each time you enter a new User ID and Password so you can decide the passwords that are saved.

After you have visited some sites and saved some passwords, you can access the list of saved passwords by tapping Saved Passwords.
How to save passwords to iCloud Keychain on iOS 7
- Launch the Settings app from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.
- Scroll down and tap on Safari.
- Now tap on Passwords & AutoFill.
- Turn On the option for Always Allow.
- Now go back to the site you want to save the password for and try again. iCloud Keychain should now prompt you to save it if you'd like.
